Our place is near the Post Office in Dakana. It is a quiet area compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. Being close to the post office means we see the postman every day and we know everyone in the neighborhood. We handle the distribution for this district from here. The building isn't anything special, just a sturdy place to keep the crates out of the rain. We spend a lot of time loading up the small trucks that go out to the villages. The roads around here can be a bit rough, so we have to stack everything very carefully so nothing breaks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside and wait for it to come back. We don't have a fancy team or a big marketing department. It is just a few of us who know how to move the stock and keep the records straight. We use a lot of handwritten ledgers because it is easier when the computers are acting up. The mornings are usually the busiest when all the drivers show up at once. By the afternoon, it gets very quiet and we just sweep the warehouse and check the inventory. It is a steady job and we have been doing it for years now. We don't try to be anything we are not; we just get the bottles to where they need to go in the district.
