Cafe Deja Brew

Our little spot, Cafe Deja Brew, is over in Janakpuri at G-25. It’s a decent-sized place but nothing huge. We opened up here because the neighborhood seemed like it needed a place to just sit for a bit. We have some tables and chairs scattered around, and the kitchen is tucked in the back. I spend a lot of my time making sure the fridge is stocked and the orders are going out. Janakpuri can be pretty busy, but G-25 is a bit easier to find once you know the block. We aren't trying to be the fanciest cafe in the city. It's more about having a place where the lights aren't too bright and the atmosphere is okay. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients and have to change the menu on the fly. It's just me and a small team trying to keep everything moving. We have had our share of leaky pipes and broken chairs, but we fix them as we go. It’s a real job with a lot of boring parts like doing the accounts and cleaning the windows. We get people from the nearby houses mostly. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just keep the doors open and hope the day goes smoothly without any big issues.
