Cafe Coffee Day

We are situated on Street 11 in Madanpuri, which is right near the Gurudwara in Gurgaon. It’s a busy little spot, and you can always hear the sounds from the street coming inside. We open up early and start getting everything ready for the day. It’s not one of those massive, sleek cafes you see in the big malls. This one is more tied to the local neighborhood. People stop by on their way to work or after visiting the Gurudwara. We spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure the machine is running okay. It’s a lot of routine work, honestly. Sometimes it gets really crowded and we’re all rushing around, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the clock on the wall. We don't have a big corporate speech to give. We just serve coffee and snacks to whoever walks through the door. The staff is a small group and we all know each other pretty well. Gurgaon can be a stressful city, but we try to keep things simple here on Street 11. It’s just a regular place where people can sit for a bit. We’ve had the same regulars for a long time, and we just keep doing what we do every day without overthinking it.
