We work out of the seventh floor of Time Tower on MG Road in Gurgaon. It’s a very well-known building in this part of the city. Being in units 701 and 702 means we have a decent view of the traffic crawling along below us. Brown-Forman India is a part of a much larger global company, but here in the office, it just feels like a bunch of us trying to manage the day-to-day business. We handle a lot of the distribution and administrative work for the brands we represent. The office is often a bit cluttered with samples and promotional materials. We don't have a very strict or formal atmosphere. People walk around in casual clothes and we talk about our weekends as much as we talk about work. Gurgaon is a fast-paced place, and sometimes it feels like we are just trying to keep up. The elevators in Time Tower can be a real test of patience during the morning rush. We spend a lot of time on calls with people all over the country. It’s not all glamorous; there is a lot of paperwork and basic logistics that have to get done. We aren't here to give you a big sales pitch. We are just the team that keeps things moving behind the scenes in India. We eat our lunch together in the breakroom and complain about the heat like everyone else. It's just a regular office life for us here on MG Road.
