Our office is over in Narsinghpur, handled through F and G Associates in the K Doula area. It is a part of Gurugram that has seen a lot of new buildings and changes lately. Bharat Shikanji Llp is our company. We focus on that traditional lemon drink that almost everyone in this part of India knows. It takes a lot of work getting the mix right and making sure we have enough supplies for the hot season. The sun gets really intense here in Haryana, so people are always looking for something cold to drink. We spend our days managing the sugar and lemons and talking to the people who help us move the product. It is not exactly a glamorous job, sitting in a small office or a warehouse in Narsinghpur. We deal with the dust from the road and the big trucks coming in and out all day long. Sometimes the phones are ringing constantly and other days it is quiet enough for us to actually get some cleaning or filing done. We are just a local group of people trying to keep a traditional taste going in a modern city like Gurgaon. We do not have a big marketing budget or any fancy people working for us. We mostly rely on the fact that people know what we make. It is a practical business run by people who live right here in the community. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
