We operate out of Plot No. 239 in Sector 7 of IMT Manesar. This is Armstrong Wires & Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Being in Manesar means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops for miles. Our plot is mostly taken up by the production area where we handle the wire drawing and engineering tasks. It’s a dusty place, as you’d expect from a factory, but we keep the machines running six days a week. We’ve been here for several years now. The staff mostly comes in from the nearby residential areas and some commute from the city. There’s a lot of heavy machinery around, so it gets quite loud during the shifts. We don't have a posh office; the small room we use for admin is right next to the shop floor. We focus on getting the orders out on time for our customers. The roads in Sector 7 can be a bit rough with all the heavy trucks, especially during the rains when the puddles get deep. We spend a lot of time managing the inventory and making sure the wire specs are right for each job. It’s a lot of manual work and technical monitoring. We take our breaks under the shade of the few trees we have out front. It’s a no-nonsense environment where the main goal is just to keep the production line moving without any hitches. We like the work we do.
