Our place is in Santawari, which is part of the Nagina area. It’s run out of the home of Baskar, who is Isey Khan’s daughter. We aren't some big city firm with a lot of money. We are just farmers from Nuh who wanted to get organized. The soil here in Mewat is what we know best. Most of our days are spent out in the sun, making sure the crops are growing right. We use this company to help all of us get better prices for what we grow. It’s hard to do that when you’re just one person against the big markets. The office isn't much to look at, just a room with some old desks and a lot of registers. We don’t care about looking professional or polished. Our hands are usually stained with dirt and our clothes are worn out from the work. We talk about the rain, the seeds, and how to keep the pests away. It’s a very simple way of living. We don't have any slogans or missions. We just want to make sure we can keep farming for another year. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting outside talking about the next harvest. It’s a community thing. We all help each other when the work gets too heavy. That’s just how things are done here in our corner of Haryana.
