Aandatta Agro And Seeds Producer Companylimited is based at House No 366 in VPO Talwandi Badhshapur. We use a part of the house as our main workspace because it’s easier that way. We are all local people from the village. Farming is what we know, so starting an agro and seed company felt like the natural thing to do. We spend a lot of time looking at seeds and talking to the other growers in Talwandi Badhshapur. It’s a lot of responsibility because if the seeds aren't right, the whole season is ruined for someone. We don't have a big staff or a fancy office setup. It is usually just a few of us sitting around a table with some registers. We started this because we wanted to make sure our village had access to what they needed without having to travel too far or pay too much. It’s not a perfect business. We deal with power cuts and late deliveries just like everyone else around here. We don't use any corporate jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We are just farmers who are trying to manage the business side of things for our community. It is a lot of trial and error, but we keep at it because it’s our own livelihood on the line too. This is just our way of working together.
