Singh Chicken Corner

Running a chicken shop in Gurgaon is a lot of work. We are located at Shop Number 64 on Old Delhi Road. If you know Sector 14, you probably know where the Huda Office is. We are right across from it. It gets really crowded during lunch time because of all the office workers coming out at once. We have to be fast with the orders or people get cranky. The stove is always going and it gets pretty hot in here, especially during the summer months. My father started this place and now I am here most days. It is not a big shop but it is ours. We spend a lot of time cleaning up at night after everyone leaves. Old Delhi Road never really sleeps, there is always some noise or cars passing by. Sometimes the delivery bikes take up all the space out front. We try to keep them in line so the neighbors do not complain. It is a honest way to spend the day. You meet all kinds of people here. Some are in a hurry and some want to talk while their food is being packed. We just focus on the chicken and making sure it tastes like it should. No shortcuts here. It is just us working hard in Sector 14, day in and day out. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, but we stay open.
