Pintxo

Pintxo is tucked away in Galleria Market, which is in DLF City Phase IV. If you’ve ever been to Galleria, you know it’s a maze. We are at SF 90. The market is always crowded, and finding a parking spot is basically a miracle. But that’s the charm of the place, I guess. Our spot is quite small, which makes it feel a bit cramped sometimes when it’s full. We named it after those little Spanish snacks, and we try to keep that casual vibe going. A lot of the people who come in are working in the offices nearby or they live in the apartments just around the corner. It’s the kind of place where you might see the same faces every Tuesday. We don’t have a huge kitchen, so we stick to what we can do well in a small space. The noise from the courtyard usually drifts in, and it gets really lively on weekend evenings. We’ve had a few leaks and the air conditioning sometimes struggles when it’s forty degrees outside, but we fix things as they break. It’s a bit of a struggle running a small place in such a big city like Gurgaon, but we enjoy it. The staff is like a small family. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. We just put the food out and hope people like it enough to come back next week.
