Paramount Hotel

Our hotel is situated on the Delhi-Gurgaon Road, tucked right behind the Sham Sweets shop and near the telephone exchange. This area is always moving with traffic and people going to work in the offices nearby. We mostly see guests who are here for work or people who had a long day and don't want to drive all the way back into the city. The place is pretty modest. We have a few floors of rooms that are kept as clean as we can manage with all the construction and road work going on outside. The sound of the exchange and the traffic is something you just live with here. We don't have a big restaurant inside, but since Sham Sweets is right there, people usually just go there to get something to eat. Our staff is small, just a few of us who handle the cleaning and the front desk. We don't wear fancy uniforms, just regular clothes that are easy to work in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to get the generator started, which is just part of running a building in this area. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything. People usually find us because they see our sign from the road or they are working at the exchange. It’s a practical place to stay when you just need to sleep and get back to your business the next day without any trouble.
