Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Gurgaon is located out in Mohammadpur. It’s under the Farrukhnagar Post and Tehsil. Being away from the main city changes how things feel here. It is much quieter and there is a lot more space. We have a big campus that requires a lot of walking. The air is a bit cleaner than in the center of Gurgaon. We have students who stay with us, so the school is active day and night. It’s not just about classes; it is about living here too. The buildings are functional and sturdy. We deal with the usual issues of a large property, like keeping the water pumps working or the lights on. It’s a lot of work for the staff. We don't have flashy signs or modern glass walls. It is mostly brick and concrete. The canteen is a busy place three times a day. You can hear the kids playing on the fields long after the lessons are over. We are a bit isolated, which helps the students focus. Farrukhnagar is a quiet area and we like it that way. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time. We just provide the space and the time for the kids to study. It’s a plain, honest kind of place.
