Green Wood Public School

Green Wood Public School has been around Sec-9 for a while now. We are right at Huda Site No 1. It’s a busy spot but we make it work somehow. Most days start pretty early here. You’ll see the yellow buses pulling in and kids running around the gates before the first bell. It gets a bit loud, honestly. That is just how schools are. We have teachers who have been with us for years. They know the families around here. Sometimes parents just drop by to chat or check on things. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. Just classrooms and a playground that gets a lot of use. People in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a straightforward place. We try to keep the grass trimmed when we can. The building shows its age in some spots but it feels like home to the students. We deal with the usual stuff like broken chalk and leaky taps. It is part of the job. We just keep going day by day. If you walk past Huda Site No 1, you can't miss the sign. We aren't trying to be the biggest school around. We just focus on what happens inside the gates. It’s about the kids and their lessons. Nothing more than that really. We are just a local school doing what we do.
