Boombox Cafe

Boombox Cafe is located at SCO 53 in Sector 29. If you know Gurgaon, you know that Sector 29 is where everything happens at night. We picked this spot because it’s right in the middle of all that action. It’s a bit of a walk depending on where you park, but we are easy enough to find once you get here. We don’t have a big corporate office or a board of directors. It’s just us running the cafe every single day. The walls have some decor that we liked, and the music is usually playing in the background. It gets pretty loud on Friday nights, but that’s just the vibe of the sector. We see a lot of office workers coming in after their shifts are done. Most of them just want a place to sit and talk for a bit. We don’t have fancy tablecloths or anything like that because it’s a cafe where you can just be yourself. We handle the cleaning, the ordering, and the daily headaches of running a business in a busy city like Gurgaon. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generator, which is just part of the routine here. We’ve been at SCO 53 for a while now, and we’ve seen shops come and go. We just keep doing our thing, making sure there’s enough coffee and food for whoever walks through the door. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us moving.
