Ahuja Goods Transport Co

We are located on Jail Road, right near the Sohna Adda in Gurgaon. This area is always full of heavy vehicles and the sound of engines. Ahuja Goods Transport Co is a straightforward business. We move things from one place to another. Our office is a simple concrete room with a few heavy desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and people who have stuff to move. The floor is usually a bit dusty from all the boots coming in and out. There is a large board where we track which truck is where. It isn't a place for fancy clothes; we usually have grease or dirt on our hands. The Sohna Adda is a hub for transport, so there is always someone around to talk to. We have a water cooler in the corner that gets a lot of use during the summer months. Dealing with trucks means a lot of late nights and early mornings. We check the loads and make sure the paperwork is in order before anything leaves. It's a tough business but it’s what we know. We have been on Jail Road for a long time and the neighborhood knows us. We don't have any big mission statements. We just focus on getting the goods loaded and sent off on time. It is practical work and we just take it one day at a time.
