We are located down on Acharya Puri Sikanderpur Road. It’s right near Shani Mandir, so it gets pretty busy around here especially on Saturdays. Chetak Carriers Pvt Ltd has been in this spot for a while now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of paper. Most of the day is spent on the phone or talking to drivers who pull up outside. The road is often dusty and there's always the sound of horns in the background. We keep things simple. If there's work to do, we get to it. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, but mostly it's just keeping track of where everything is going. People know the landmark of the temple, so finding us isn't too hard if you're in the area. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the door. It’s mostly about making sure the trucks are moving and the loads are accounted for. The ceiling fan hums all day and we try to keep the door shut against the heat. It’s a lot of manual work, writing things down in ledgers and checking the manifests. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. It’s just us here working through the lists. The traffic on Sikanderpur Road can be a real headache in the evenings, but we’re used to it by now. That's just how it is around this part of town.
