We spend most of our time out there talking to the men or checking the loads before they head out on long trips. It’s not the kind of place where you’d ever wear a suit or fancy shoes. We are usually covered in a bit of grit and grease from the road. Working near Kartarpuri Road means we see a lot of traffic and a lot of different people every day. We don't have a big staff, just a few reliable people who really know how to handle cargo. It’s a tough business and the margins are often very thin, so we don't waste money on things we don't absolutely need. We just focus on getting the carrier's job done. Sometimes the weather is incredibly hot and the dust is thick enough to choke you, but the work doesn't stop for that. People know us as the ones who are always at the parking lot. We don't do much in the way of promotion or advertising because word of mouth works fine.
