We operate out of Basai Enclave in Rajeev Nagar, specifically on the Main Sheetla Mata Road. It is a very busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of movement and noise outside our door. Most of the time, the shop is full of packing materials like rolls of plastic, tape, and stacks of brown boxes. We spend our mornings checking the schedule to see who is moving where. It’s mostly about getting the timing right and making sure we have enough hands for the heavy stuff. Sometimes we are moving a whole family to a new flat, and other times it is just a few items for someone moving into a hostel. The weather can be a real problem, especially when it rains and we have to be extra careful with the furniture. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; it's just us doing the work. The office is just a place to keep the keys and the logbooks for the trucks. We drink a lot of chai while waiting for the next load to be ready. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying, up and down stairs, which can be tiring by the end of the week. But it’s what we do. We know the Rajeev Nagar area quite well by now, and the Main Sheetla Mata Road is a good spot for us to be located.
