NEW BIJLI FOUNDRY

NEW BIJLI FOUNDRY is situated right on G.T. Road in Batala. The pin code is 143505 and we are up here in Punjab. The foundry is a place where there is always heat and the smell of hot metal in the air. Being on G.T. Road means there are big trucks and cars going by at all hours of the day and night. It is a very busy road and can be quite loud. Batala has a lot of history with this kind of work, and we are just one of the shops along the main stretch. We don't have a fancy entrance. It is just a big gate that leads into the foundry area where the work happens. Inside, things are dark and covered in a bit of soot, which is normal for a foundry. We work with the furnaces and the molds every single day. It is hard work, especially in the summer months when the Punjab heat is already high and the furnaces are running. We just get on with it though. The name NEW BIJLI FOUNDRY has been on the wall for a long time. Most people around Batala know where G.T. Road is, so finding us isn't hard if you are looking. We are just local people doing this work for the community. There are no corporate meetings here, just the sound of the machines and the heat from the fire. We keep a simple schedule from morning until late. If you are passing through Batala on the highway, you will probably see our place.
