KANWAL INDUSTRIES

We've been here in Batala for a while now. Kanwal Industries sits right inside the street at Shere-E-Punjab, just off the G.T. Road in Simble. It is a busy area, lots of noise from the road and trucks passing by all day. If you know Batala, you know how things work here. People just show up at the gate and we handle things as they come. It is not a fancy setup. The building is old but it works for what we do. Most of the guys working here live nearby in Simble or just a short cycle ride away. We open up early because the heat gets bad later in the day. Punjab can be tough that way. We just keep the machines running and get the orders out. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the street for a bit until it comes back. It's just a normal workshop life. No big offices or anything like that. Just the smell of grease and metal and the sound of the G.T. Road traffic. If someone is looking for us, they usually have to ask around Shere-E-Punjab because the street is a bit narrow. But we are always there. We don't change much. Just a local spot doing the work. It’s practical. No one expects anything shiny around here, and we don't try to be something we aren't.
