KARAM INDUSTRIES

KARAM INDUSTRIES is situated on Kahnuwan Road at Simble Chowk in Batala. If you know Punjab, you know Batala has a long history with iron and steel. We are part of that tradition, located right in a busy intersection where something is always happening. The street outside is usually full of tractors and people going about their business. Our building is a solid, older structure that has seen a lot of seasons. Inside, it is exactly what you would expect from a place called KARAM INDUSTRIES. There are stacks of raw materials and finished products waiting to go out. The floor is concrete and a bit uneven in places. We have a small office tucked away in one corner where we keep the ledgers and the telephone. Most of our time is spent out on the floor though. We are a small crew, and we have worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to understand what needs to be done next. The winters here get quite cold, and we usually have a small heater going, but the summers are the real test. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way. It is a practical life in a practical town. We don't try to be anything we aren't, and we are happy with the way we do things around here. It is just part of our daily routine.
