Arjan Machine Tools

We are located right on the street by the masjid in Faizpura. If you know Batala, you know how busy the G.T. Road area gets with all the shops and people moving around. Our place is Arjan Machine Tools and we spend most of our days here working with the machines. It is a bit loud sometimes because of the metal work, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. The shop has been here a while and we see a lot of familiar faces from the neighborhood. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a quick break, then it is back to the lathes and grinders. The weather gets really hot in the summer here in Punjab, so we try to start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. People usually find us just by asking around near the mosque. It is a simple setup. We focus on the work at hand and making sure the tools are right. There is always grease on someone's hands and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We like the routine of it. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the G.T. Road.
