Baring School

Baring School is out here on Jalandhar Road in Batala. It’s a prominent spot, and most people around here know exactly where we are. The campus is quite old and has a lot of history to it. You can see it in the thick walls and the way the trees have grown over the decades. It’s not like those new schools made of all glass and steel. We have big open spaces where the wind blows through, which is nice in the summer. The daily life here is pretty straightforward. Students arrive, bells ring, and lessons happen. We have a lot of traditions because we’ve been around for so long. Teachers here have often been with us for years, so they know the families in Batala quite well. We don't go in for flashy advertising or anything like that. Our reputation comes from the people who have studied here. The walk from the main gate to the classrooms is a bit long, but it’s a good way to wake up in the morning. Sometimes the road outside gets really busy with trucks and buses going toward Jalandhar, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s much quieter. We just focus on giving the kids a decent place to learn. It’s about the books and the blackboard. Nothing more, nothing less. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the old buildings in good shape as best as we can.
