Bharatiys Vidya Bhavan'S Residentioal School is situated right on Sh 44 in Tadepalle. Since it’s a residential school, there is always someone around, even at night. The campus sits on a decent piece of land along the highway. You can see the traffic going by all day long. It’s a busy road, but once you get inside the gates, it gets much quieter. We have dormitories for the students and housing for some of the staff too. It feels like a small village of its own sometimes. We don’t have a lot of fancy landscaping, just some trees and open spaces where the kids can spend their time. The dining hall is the busiest place during meal times. We serve a lot of food every single day. It’s a lot of work to keep a place like this running twenty-four hours a day. We have to manage the laundry, the kitchen, and the classrooms all at once. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time. We know the rhythms of the place. It’s not a polished corporate environment. There are always repairs to be done or a lightbulb that needs changing. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the students are looked after. It’s a practical life, living and working on the same grounds. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
