Apple English Medium High School

Apple English Medium High School is located right on Guntur Road in Perecherla. If you are driving past, you will see our gate and the simple sign we have out front. The road is always busy with lorries and buses going towards Guntur, so there is quite a bit of noise and dust throughout the day. Our building is a straightforward concrete structure with a few floors. We have a small courtyard where the students spend their lunch breaks, often sharing food they brought from home. The teachers here are mostly people from the surrounding villages who have been with us for quite a while. We keep things very basic in terms of equipment. The classrooms have chalkboards and rows of wooden desks that we have to repair every now and then. In the rainy season, the ground near the entrance gets a bit muddy, so we have to put down stones for people to walk on. It is not a place with big gardens or modern labs, just a regular school where the focus is on the daily routine. The office is small and usually has a stack of notebooks waiting to be checked. We open the doors early in the morning when the air is still a bit fresh before the heat of the day kicks in. It is just a part of the Perecherla landscape where we do our work quietly.
