Shyam Krishna Inter College

Shyam Krishna Inter College sits right in Pipiganj, which is a busy part of Gorakhpur. We have many students coming in from different parts of the 273001 area every day. The building has been here for years, and it looks like a typical school you see in this part of Uttar Pradesh. There are always bicycles parked out front and kids chatting near the gates before the bell rings. We do the intermediate classes, so the students are a bit older and starting to think about their futures. It is a lot of responsibility for us, but we just take it one day at a time. The classrooms are basic with wooden benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; we just focus on the daily lessons. When it rains, the sound on the roof is loud, but the kids keep working anyway. Most of the parents around here know the teachers by name. We see them at the shops or during local festivals. It feels more like a community spot than a big cold organization. We just try to make sure the syllabus gets finished and the kids are ready for their exams. It’s a plain, honest place where learning happens without any extra fuss or expensive decorations. We’ve kept the gates the same color for decades, and the big tree in the courtyard still provides the best shade during lunch breaks.
