Digvijay Nath P. G. College

Digvijay Nath P. G. College is found in Civil Lines, Gorakhpur. This is an older part of the city in Uttar Pradesh. The college building itself is quite traditional and has been standing for many years. It is a post-graduate institution, so we are dealing with adult students who are working on their higher degrees. The campus is spread out with various departments and old hallways that have seen a lot of history. Civil Lines is a busy area, but once you are inside the college gates, it feels a bit more like a place for study. We have a library that is usually full of students and some laboratories for the science classes. Most of our faculty have been here for a long time and they know the system well. We don't have a lot of new, polished features. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the furniture is a bit dated, but it serves its purpose. Gorakhpur is a central place for many people in the region, so we get students from all over. The atmosphere is mostly about getting through the lectures and preparing for exams. We don't do much in the way of promotion. The college is just a fixture of Civil Lines. We keep the doors open and the classes running and help the students move toward their graduation year after year. It’s a big part of the local community.
