Scholars Girls Inter College

Scholars Girls Inter College is located in Bashratpur, along the Sikriganj Gorakhpur Main Road. Being on the main road means we are very easy to spot when you are driving through Gorakhpur. The college is specifically for girls, and it provides a quiet space away from the noise of the traffic outside. The building is old but sturdy, with wide corridors and high ceilings that help with the heat in the summer months. We have a lot of students from the 273001 area who come here every day. It’s a very normal school environment. We have assemblies in the morning, and then the girls head to their classrooms for the day's lessons. The gate is kept closed during school hours to keep things orderly and safe. We don't have a lot of modern frills or fancy gadgets; we just use the same teaching methods that have worked for us for years. The teachers are dedicated and have been here for a long time, so they know the families in the area well. Sometimes the road outside gets blocked with trucks or construction, which makes the commute a bit long for some of the staff. We just take things as they come and don't worry too much about it. It’s a place with a lot of history in the neighborhood, and we are just here to keep the doors open and the classrooms filled for the next generation of girls in Gorakhpur.
