Shanti Institute Technical Degree College is situated right near the petrol pump on Geeta Vatika Road in the Shahpur area of Gorakhpur. Having the petrol pump right there makes it really easy to give people directions when they are coming to visit us for the first time. The college focuses on technical degrees, so you usually see students carrying around lab manuals or working on their assignments in the common areas. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long, but we’ve all gotten used to the noise by now. The building is functional and serves its purpose for the various classes we hold. Sometimes the staff has to stay late to get all the grading finished before the semester ends. We see the same faces every day and have gotten to know the students pretty well. Sometimes the internet connection acts up and everyone gets a bit frustrated, but we just keep moving along.
