Cmc Academy

Cmc Academy is located at Sher Kothi in the Buxipur area. It’s an older building with a lot of character, and we’ve taken up a few rooms there for our training center. We mostly focus on computer skills. Inside, you’ll find rows of monitors and people staring at screens, trying to figure out how a particular program works. It’s not a fancy corporate training center with leather chairs and coffee machines. We have basic desks and stools. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and we all have to wait a minute for a page to load, which can be frustrating. We have a small team here and we all do a bit of everything. One minute you’re teaching a student how to use a spreadsheet, and the next you’re trying to fix a printer jam. Most of our students come from Buxipur or the nearby colonies. They are usually looking for some practical skills to help them find a job. We have classes in the mornings and then another batch in the evenings for people who work during the day. It gets a bit noisy sometimes when the students are discussing a project, but we don't mind. We've been in Sher Kothi for a while now and we like the location. It’s easy for people to reach. We just focus on the lessons and making sure everyone gets some time on the machines. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work.
