Super Tent & Decorators

Super Tent & Decorators is based in New Gandhi Nagar at B-5. We spend most of our time traveling between the shop and whatever event we are working on. The shop itself is mostly full of folded tents, bundles of fairy lights, and stacks of metal chairs. It can look like a mess to an outsider, but there is a system to it. We do a lot of heavy lifting. Carrying those iron frames and heavy curtains isn't easy work, especially when it’s hot outside. New Gandhi Nagar is a busy area, so loading the trucks without blocking the whole street is always a challenge. We don't have a big fancy showroom. Most of our work is seen at the parties and weddings we set up. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we know which fabrics look good and how to string the lights so they don't fall down. Sometimes things break or get stained, and we spend the next day fixing or cleaning them. It’s a cycle of setting up and tearing down. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just bring the stuff, put it up, and take it away when the party is over. It’s practical work and it keeps us on our feet. We just try to make sure everything is where it should be.
