Our business, Anju Jain Decoration, is situated at C-197 in Surya Nagar, not far from the Sihani Gate. We handle the decoration side of things for various local events and parties. This isn't a retail store where you come to buy things off a shelf. Instead, it is more like a hub where we keep all our supplies. We have piles of fabrics, rolls of colorful lights, and containers full of decorative items like beads and artificial flowers. When someone has a wedding or a birthday party coming up, they come and talk to us about what they need. Then we load up our gear and go to the venue to set everything up. It is a lot of physical labor, involving a lot of untangling wires and hanging drapes from the ceiling. We have a small group of people who help with the heavy work. Sometimes we are working late into the night to make sure everything is ready for the next morning. Surya Nagar is a good location for us because it is easy to reach different parts of the city from here. We do not have a fancy showroom; we just show people pictures of the work we have done before on our phones. It is a practical business that depends on us showing up on time and doing what we said we would do. We enjoy seeing how a dull room can change after we spend a few hours working on it. It keeps our days interesting and busy.
