Shri Krishna Tent House & Caterers

We are located at Maliwara, Vaishali Sector 2, A 152. Shri Krishna Tent House & Caterers is where we keep all the stuff for local events. It’s more of a warehouse feel than an office, with stacks of metal poles, folded tents, and piles of chairs everywhere. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading trucks. The floor is usually covered in some bit of fabric or rope. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside and we have to move the heavy cooking pots and gas burners. We don’t really have a showroom; if people want to see what we have, they usually just look at the stuff piled up in the back or we show them some old photos. The walls are just brick and we have a small desk tucked into the corner where we write down the dates for the bookings. Sometimes the curtains for the tents get a bit wrinkled, and we have to spend time straightening them out. Our staff is mostly just a few guys who have been doing this for years. We handle the local weddings and small parties in the neighborhood. It’s noisy when we’re moving the poles around, and there’s always a bit of grease on the catering equipment that needs cleaning. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in Sector 2. We keep the equipment ready and wait for the next job to come in.
