Bittu tent and caters

Started this place in Vijay Nagar C-1 a long time ago. My father used to handle the stuff before me and now I sit here most days. We do tents and the food part for weddings and small parties nearby. It gets very busy during the wedding months and we hardly sleep. The store is full of poles, colorful clothes, and big cooking pots. Sometimes the weather is bad and it makes setting up the tent a real headache, especially if it's windy. We just try to get everything ready before the guests arrive. Most people around here know us because we've been on this corner for years. It isn’t a fancy office or anything, just a place where we keep the gear and talk to people about their events. We have a few guys who work with us, carrying the heavy chairs and fixing the lights. Catering is hard work because you have to manage the kitchen and the heat. I spend a lot of time on the phone or just walking around to make sure the fabric is tied right. Vijay Nagar has changed a lot, more houses now, so more small birthdays to cover. We don't do much advertising, just the board outside. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving things back and forth from the trucks. Every day is different, some days are quiet and we just clean the spoons or mend the tents that got torn. That's just how it goes here.
