Shoraka Carpets

If you head out to Dasna Town, you’ll find us near the post office. Shoraka Carpets is a quiet sort of place. Being in a town like this, away from the big city noise, changes the way we work. Things move a bit slower here. The building is simple, and we have carpets stacked up in the main room. We don't have a lot of foot traffic, so we spend a lot of time working on the carpets themselves or talking to the people who come in specifically to see us. The air is a bit cleaner here than in the city, but it still gets dusty inside with all the wool. We have a small yard in the back where we sometimes take the carpets out to air them out. The post office nearby is a good landmark, so people don’t usually get lost trying to find us. We’ve got an old wooden desk where we do all the writing and a few benches for people to sit on. It’s a very basic setup. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where we are in Dasna Town. Most of the people working here are from the local area. We take our tea breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in town. It’s a steady life. We like the carpets and we like the pace here. It’s a good way to spend the day.
