Our building is on the Delhi Meerut Road, specifically in the double-story Govindpuri area of Modinagar. It’s a noisy spot because of all the traffic moving between the cities, so we hear trucks and horns all day long. We’ve got two floors here, which helps keep things separated. The ground floor is where most of the heavy work happens. We make various plastic products, so there’s always that specific smell of heating plastic in the air. It’s something you get used to after a week or two. We have a small group of guys who have been with us for years, and they know the machines better than anyone. The upper floor is a bit quieter, mostly used for storage and a bit of paperwork. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and you’re right in the middle of it. The stairs are narrow and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a functional place. We spend our days making sure the molds are clean and the output is consistent. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch if the power flickers during the day. It’s a straightforward life here. We focus on what’s in front of us, pack the goods into bags, and get them ready for the local distributors who come by in their small vans every morning. It is a lot of work but it pays the bills.
