About Seth Tent House – Event & Planning in Ghaziabad
Over here at Sector 10 B-87, things are always a bit chaotic at Seth Tent House. We have these massive iron poles leaning against the back wall and piles of heavy fabric that smell like laundry soap and dust. It is a lot of heavy lifting every single day. My back usually aches by five o'clock but that is just part of the work. When someone has a wedding or a small prayer meeting, they come to us to rent chairs and the big colorful tents. We spend hours loading everything onto the back of a small truck and hoping the rain stays away. The fabric is getting a bit old in some places but it still looks okay when you stretch it out tight over the frames. I spend a lot of time checking for holes or seeing if the guys folded the carpets correctly. The office is just a small corner with a wooden table and a bunch of old ledgers. I don't use a computer for much; writing things down by hand just feels easier for me. Sometimes people come in and argue about the price and I just sit there and wait for them to finish. Sector 10 is a quiet enough place until we start banging the poles together. My hands are usually rough from the ropes and the metal. It’s a simple life running a tent house and we just keep going day after day.
