Sachin Tent House

We are located out near the bypass, right by Latthmar Colony and Ambedkar Park. It is a busy spot with cars going by all day long. Most of our time is spent loading and unloading these heavy metal poles and big rolls of cloth. It gets really dusty being so close to the road, so we are always cleaning things off. We have a lot of equipment piled up in our storage area. Usually, things get really hectic when someone has a wedding or a big prayer meeting nearby. We spend hours untangling ropes and checking to see if any of the tent fabric has gotten torn. The sun can be quite brutal when we are working out in the open. My hands stay a bit rough from moving all the metal frames around every day. We also have some old plastic chairs that we rent out for events. They are not the newest looking things, but they still work just fine for people. Sometimes the noise from the bypass is so loud that we have to yell at each other just to be heard. We go through a lot of water when it is hot. People from Vijay Nagar and Bagu come over when they have something to plan. It is hard work but we have been doing it for a long time. We do not have a fancy office, just the space where we keep all our gear. If the weather looks bad, we worry about the fabric getting wet.
