Rishi Vegetarian Dhaba

Started at Mohan Nagar. We're at S-133 in the Upsidc area. It’s a busy spot on Loni Road. Most days it’s just us getting the kitchen ready early. People come in from the nearby sites. We don't do anything fancy here. It's just vegetarian food like you'd get at home. Some days the traffic outside is loud, but we've gotten used to it. The shop has been here for a while now. We keep the benches clean. My family helps out when it gets crowded during lunch. You know how it is in an industrial area, everyone's in a hurry. We try to keep up with the orders. Sometimes we run out of things if the morning was busy. It's a simple life. We buy our vegetables fresh every morning from the local market. The stove stays hot most of the day. We don't spend money on big signs or ads. People find us because they work nearby or someone told them about the dal. It’s just a dhaba. Nothing more to it. We close up once the dinner rush slows down. It gets quiet on Loni Road then. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the plates are full. We don't have a menu that changes, we just do what we know well. Every day is pretty much the same and that's fine with us.
