Param Import & Export

Param Import & Export is located at K L-3 in Kavi Nagar. It is a pretty straightforward place. We deal with moving goods across borders, which means a lot of checking lists and making sure the stamps are in the right places. Kavi Nagar is a nice enough area to work in, and we’ve been here for a good chunk of time. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and a few old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs people or trying to track down where a container has ended up. It’s a lot of waiting around followed by ten things happening all at once. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the stuff gets where it is going without too much trouble. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed and we have to explain it to everyone, which isn't fun, but it's part of the trade. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going during the long shifts. People in the neighborhood know us as the folks who are always surrounded by stacks of paper. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just trying to do our bit and keep the business running. It’s mostly just hard work and being patient with the process of importing and exporting.
