Malhotra Tent House

Malhotra Tent House is located in the A Block Market of Surya Nagar 1, near Delhi Gate. This is where we keep all the stuff for setting up events. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. We have big bundles of cloth, metal pipes, and stacks of plastic chairs piled up. When someone in the area has a celebration, like a wedding or a birthday, they come find us here. We spend most of our time out on sites, putting up the structures and making sure the carpets are laid down straight. The shop in the market is more of a place for people to come and talk to us about what they need. It is often quite dusty because of all the fabric moving in and out. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around, we just want to make sure the tents we put up don't fall down if there’s a bit of wind. Working around Delhi Gate means we are always in the middle of the local buzz. Some days are very quiet, and then suddenly three people want tents for the same weekend. We just do the best we can with the hands we have. It’s a family-run kind of thing, where everyone knows how to tie a knot or haul a generator. We’ve been at this Surya Nagar spot for a while now and know how things work.
