About Indus Expo International – Event & Planning in Ghaziabad
Being over at Ansal Plaza means we see a lot of foot traffic every day, but we’re usually tucked away in L4, Cs 37 working on logistics. Indus Expo International sounds like a big name, but it’s really just a small team of us handling a lot of moving parts. We deal with crates, schedules, and a lot of phone calls. The office isn't anything special. It's got files everywhere and the air conditioning is sometimes too cold for its own good. We spend a lot of time making sure things get from one place to another without getting broken. It can be stressful when a show is about to start and something is missing. We’ve learned to stay calm, or at least try to. We aren't fancy people. We wear comfortable shoes because we're on our feet a lot. Some mornings start really early with emails from different time zones. We drink a lot of tea here to keep going. Ansal Plaza is a busy spot, so getting lunch is easy, though we usually just eat at our desks while checking lists. We’ve been doing this for a bit now and have seen all sorts of problems pop up. We just fix them and move on to the next thing. It’s not a perfect system, but we make it work. Every day is a bit of a puzzle. We enjoy the challenge even when it's tiring.
