Guru ji ke rasoi

Guru ji ke rasoi is located at 142 Link railway road. Being so close to the station means there is always noise from the trains and the whistles blowing at odd hours. It’s part of the life here in Sahibabad. We see a lot of people coming from Shyam Park or heading towards the railway tracks. The road out front is often dusty and filled with rickshaws and people rushing to catch their commute. We open up early because that's when the first batch of people starts moving. It is a small setup, just enough room to get the work done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. My cousins help out most days, and we just manage the crowd as it comes. It gets pretty loud during the lunch hours when everyone seems to be in a hurry at the same time. Sometimes we run out of space and people have to wait, but nobody seems to mind too much. We know most of the regulars by face even if we don't know their names. It’s just a regular Ghaziabad day, busy and a bit chaotic. We try to keep the place clean but with all the dust from the railway road, it’s a constant battle. We just keep at it day after day because that's what we know. The railway tracks are right there and the vibration of the trains is something you just live with.
