Fortune Platters Restaurant

If you go up to the second floor of Shipra Mall in Indirapuram, you will find us at Shop No 29-31. Fortune Platters Restaurant takes up a decent bit of space there, but it still feels crowded when the weekend shoppers start pouring in. The mall lights are always bright, and the sound of people walking past never really stops until closing time. We spend a lot of time arranging the chairs and wiping down the tables before the mall opens its doors. The kitchen is tucked away in the back, and it gets pretty loud with the clatter of plates and the hum of the big refrigerators. We don't have much of a view since we are inside the mall, but we see a lot of different people every day. Some people just want a quick snack while others sit for a long time resting their feet from shopping. Our menus are a bit tattered at the edges because they get used so much, but we keep using them anyway. The staff wears aprons that always end up with a few stains by the end of the night no matter how careful they are. It’s just the way it goes in a busy restaurant. We just focus on getting the plates out to the tables and keeping the water glasses full. It’s a fast-paced environment but we have a good routine down after being here for so long. We just get on with the job.
