Flamingo Designers

Our place is located in Shyam Enclave, specifically at D-21 in Janak Puri, Shaibabad. It's a residential-feeling area but we run Flamingo Designers from here. It is not a huge studio, just a couple of rooms where we keep our computers and samples. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and colors. It's quiet mostly, which helps when you need to focus on a drawing. We've got a lot of fabric scraps and paper rolls lying around. It looks a bit messy to some, but we know where everything is. Usually, we start early in the morning before the traffic gets bad. Shaibabad can get quite congested, so we try to time our trips to suppliers carefully. We aren't trying to be the biggest design firm around, we just like making things that look right. Sometimes a client comes by and we show them what we're working on. We don't have a receptionist or anything, so usually one of us just gets up to open the door when the bell rings. It’s a simple setup. We deal with all sorts of design requests, some easy and some that take a lot of trial and error. We don't mind the hard ones, they keep the day interesting. Just a small team trying to do honest work in Janak Puri. We’ve been here a few years and have gotten to know the neighbors well. It's a nice little community for us.
