Diamond Palace

Diamond Palace is over in Rajendra Place near the Dda Taxi Stand-1. The area around 201002 is usually packed with cars and people trying to get somewhere. Being right by the taxi stand means there is a lot of movement all the time. We handle different kinds of events and gatherings here. It is a lot of coordinating and making sure the space is ready when people show up. The building has been here for a bit and we just try to keep it in good shape. It’s not like those fancy places you see in magazines. It’s more of a practical venue for the local community. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking around the floor checking on things. Rajendra Place is a busy hub so there is never a quiet moment really. The taxi drivers outside are always busy and that adds to the energy of the spot. We just focus on getting the doors open and the lights on. There is always some small thing to fix or a floor to sweep. We don't do much in the way of fancy talk. We just provide the space and let people do what they need to do. It's a straightforward business in a busy part of the city. We've seen a lot of different groups come through these doors over the years and we just keep doing our thing. It keeps us on our toes and there is never a dull day.
