Delhi Bhojnalaya

You can find us at S6/1 in Shalimar Garden Extension 1. We are right near the Axis Bank ATM, which is usually how people give directions to find us. This area of Ghaziabad is always full of people moving around. We are a simple bhojnalaya, which means we focus on basic, filling meals that don't cost a fortune. The place isn't very large, but we have enough room for the lunch rush. We start our day early to get the lentils soaking and the dough ready for the rotis. There is always a lot of steam in the kitchen and the sound of pans clanking. We don't have a fancy menu with photos; we just tell you what we cooked today. Most of our customers are people who work nearby or live in the DLF Dilshad area and don't want to cook for themselves. The furniture is plain and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it is clean and the food is fresh. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. It is just a family-run spot where we do the cooking and the cleaning ourselves. When the ATM next door has a long line, we get even busier. It is just a regular life here in Shalimar Garden.
