D K Tent House

We are located on the 80 Futa Road in Shalimar Garden Extension 1. If you walk past, you’ll usually see us loading poles or big bundles of cloth onto the back of a small truck. We do tents for all sorts of things, mostly local weddings or small gatherings in the neighborhood. It is hard work because the iron pipes are heavy and the sun can be quite strong when we are setting up in an open field. We have been doing this for a while and we know how to tie the ropes so they stay put even if the wind picks up. Our storage space is packed with chairs, carpets, and lights that have seen a lot of use. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just walk in or call us when they have a function coming up. Sometimes we are working late into the night to get everything ready for the next morning. It gets a bit chaotic during the wedding season, and we barely have time to sit down. We just focus on getting the structure up and making sure there are enough seats for everyone. It’s just a local tent shop trying to keep up with the demand in Shalimar Garden. We take the truck out, set up the poles, and then come back to do it all over again the next day for someone else. It is physically tiring but it is what we know.
