Bijender Tent House & Light Decorators

We are located on the Main Nahar Road in the Behta Hajipur area of Ghaziabad. Our yard is usually full of iron pipes, folded-up tents, and big wooden crates where we keep the lights. It’s a very physical job, moving all that heavy equipment around for different events. During the wedding season, we hardly get any sleep because we are out setting up stages or stringing up decorative lights all night. The neighborhood is quite busy and the road can get dusty with all the traffic passing by the canal. We have been doing this for several years now. When there aren't many events, we spend our time checking the bulbs and repairing any tears in the tent fabric. It’s not the kind of work that happens in a clean office; our hands are usually dirty from the ropes and the metal. We have a small room where we keep the more delicate decorations and the sound systems. People from around Behta Hajipur come to us when they are planning something at their home or in a nearby park. We don't have a big catalog of pictures, we just tell people what we have and where we’ve worked before. It’s a straightforward business of putting up structures and making sure the lights turn on when they are supposed to. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult and we have to rush to cover everything, but we just deal with it as it happens.
