Bajaj Foods Ltd.

If you’re driving down the Changodar-bavla Highway, you probably know the M. N. Desai Petrol Pump. We are right across from it, tucked into units 444 to 450 in the Ashwamegh Industrial Estate. It’s a big space, but at Bajaj Foods, we manage to fill it up pretty quickly with everything going on. Being out here on the highway means we see a lot of trucks passing by all day long. It gets noisy with the engine sounds, but it’s a good spot for getting our own shipments moved around. We’ve been working out of these units for a while now. It’s not a glamorous job, being in food production, but it keeps us busy. The morning shift starts while it's still dark out, and the place really starts to hum once the machines get going. We don't have much time for sitting around in an office. Usually, there's always a pallet that needs moving or a floor that needs a quick sweep to keep things tidy. It’s just how it is. Sometimes the heat in the peak of summer makes the estate feel pretty heavy, but we just keep at it. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we all know the drill. We don't bother with much talk about big plans; we just make sure the food stuff is handled right and sent out on time. It’s honest work, and it happens right here across from the petrol pump every single day.
